By following a series of six elusive treasure maps, players can uncover unique decorative Poké Balls required to construct the iconic 'Shorts-Wearing Mermaid Arena,' a nod to the classic gym leader Misty.
Understanding the Treasure Hunt
In the Bubbly Basin, treasure maps act as guides to hidden caches scattered throughout the environment. To participate, you must identify glowing blocks within the area, destroy them, and collect the map. Once in possession of a map, you will see a visual representation of a location marked with a red cross. Navigating to these points and using the 'Rock Smash' ability will reveal your rewards.
Locating the Six Decorative Poké Balls
Each map leads to one of the following items:
- Super Ball: Located behind the blue house to the left of the Pokemon Center in Bubbly Basin. Look for a hidden chamber behind the blue rocks.
- Heal Ball: Situated between the blue-roofed house and the windmill pagoda. Travel north from the pagoda toward the coral cliffs to find the excavation point.
- Dive Ball: Found near the ruins of an arena located behind the garden of a blue house. You will identify the spot by two statues flanking the entrance.
- Net Ball: Travel to the underwater cave in the northwest. Follow the tracks until you reach the blue ice blocks; breaking these will grant you the treasure.
- Lure Ball: Located in the northeast, near a dilapidated green-roofed house with a yellow mailbox. Explore the coral beds to the left of the structure.
- Quick Ball: The final treasure is located near the southern gate. Search for the blue-roofed house directly opposite the gate and break the nearby star-patterned blocks to claim your final reward.
