During a recent appearance at the Computer Entertainment Developers Conference (CEDEC) 2026, Shuhei Yoshida, the former president of PlayStation and a key figure in the company’s history, openly admitted his own confusion. Reflecting on the game's 11-year legacy, Yoshida stated, "Bloodborne has so many fans globally and yet, there is no PS5 version. PlayStation studios release remasters constantly; why not this one? There is no PC port either."
He further added that even from his perspective, the lack of movement on this specific title is "a total mystery." While he remains hopeful that the title won't be permanently sidelined, he acknowledged that there are currently no known plans to revitalize the gothic RPG, leaving enthusiasts in a state of perpetual limbo.
