While the studio has already teased a comprehensive roadmap featuring highly requested additions—such as dynamic weather systems, changing seasons, pets, vehicles, and swimming pools—they remain focused on the iterative polish of the current experience. The latest update, version 0.1.5, released on July 2, 2026, brings a significant blend of technical optimizations and quality-of-life improvements.

Technical Overhaul: Optimization and Cloud Integration

The most impactful changes in version 0.1.5 are hidden beneath the hood. The development team has successfully overhauled the save system, drastically reducing save file sizes from an average of 500 MB down to just 30 MB. This optimization significantly reduces the load on a user's hardware and ensures substantially faster loading times, making the gaming experience much smoother.

Furthermore, the update strengthens Steam Cloud compatibility. Players can now seamlessly synchronize their save files across different devices. Notable fixes include resolving issues where fires could not be extinguished on certain lots and ensuring that solar panels and wind turbines correctly reduce utility bills.
