Halo Campaign Evolved: Location Guide for Truth and Reconciliation Skulls

Halo Campaign Evolved, the impressive Unreal Engine 5 reimagining of the classic original, brings back the hunt for hidden collectibles known as Skulls. These modifiers not only add replayability but completely transform the gameplay experience by introducing unique challenges or chaotic effects. In the iconic third chapter, 'Truth and Reconciliation', players can uncover three specific Skulls. This guide provides a detailed walkthrough to help you locate them and explains their distinct gameplay impacts.

Where to Find the Three Skulls

  1. Iron Skull: Located in the exterior section before boarding the Covenant ship. Start your run from Rally Point Alpha. Navigate to the rear of the area near the gravity lift. You will find the Skull perched on a narrow mountain ledge overlooking the drop-off.

  2. Unknown Skull: Once you have successfully infiltrated the Covenant ship, progress to the main hangar bay. Keep to the right and locate the red door. Once this door opens to reveal enemy combatants, push forward through the corridor; the Skull is located at the very end.

  3. Untouchable Skull: While navigating deeper into the ship to rescue Captain Keyes, you will encounter a large room featuring two Spectres. Head to the top level at the far right. From the edge, perform a well-timed sprint jump to reach the third pillar. The Skull is hidden in the middle of this pillar.

Understanding Skull Effects

Equipping these artifacts when restarting a mission will alter your session in the following ways:

  • Iron: This drastically increases difficulty. In solo mode, dying forces you to restart the entire mission from the beginning. In cooperative play, it returns you to the last checkpoint.
  • Unknown: This restricts your tactical flexibility by preventing you from using any weaponry belonging to opposing factions.
  • Untouchable: A game-changer that makes all UNSC vehicles completely indestructible, allowing for more aggressive playstyles in vehicular combat sections.
