Halo Campaign Evolved: Guide to Finding Every Skull in 'The Silent Cartographer'
Master the Silent Cartographer level in Halo Campaign Evolved with this comprehensive guide to locating all three hidden Skulls and understanding their gameplay effects.

Halo Campaign Evolved, the stunning Unreal Engine 5 reimagining of the classic sci-fi shooter, brings back the iconic hunt for hidden Skulls. These elusive collectables, scattered throughout each mission, act as powerful modifiers that can drastically alter gameplay—for better or worse. In the pivotal fourth chapter, 'The Silent Cartographer', players can uncover three specific Skulls. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on where to find them and details the unique effects they grant to your Master Chief experience.
Where to Find the Three Skulls
1. The Acrophobia Skull
To secure this Skull efficiently, load the mission at 'Rally Point Bravo'. Make your way to the island's central structure, which serves as the primary objective site. Ascend to the very top of this architecture. Near the junction where the natural rock formation meets the Covenant metallic structure, you will find a small cluster of trees. Tucked away under the thick foliage, you will find the Acrophobia Skull.
2. The Bandana Skull
Before you infiltrate the entrance of the Silent Cartographer’s facility, take a detour to the right. Look for a hidden path leading into a small cave that descends from the large Covenant structure down toward the beach. The Bandana Skull is resting on the ground, roughly halfway down the path.
3. The Grunt Birthday Party / 'As de la Gâchette' Skull
For this final collectible, jump into the mission at 'Rally Point Charlie'. Progress through the level until you reach the combat arena featuring two Hunters and a squad of Grunts. Locate the staircase adorned with glowing blue holographic markers. Ascend the stairs and check the platforms; you will find the Skull resting on one of the landings halfway up.
The Effects of Your Discoveries
Once collected, these Skulls can be activated via the mission menu to customize your playstyle:
- Acrophobia: Grants the player the ability to fly. Note: Activating this will disable all achievements and trophies for your current run.
- Bandana: Provides infinite ammunition and grenades. Like other major modifiers, this will deactivate achievement progress.
- As de la Gâchette (Trigger Discipline): Disables the zoom function on all weapons, offering a much more challenging mechanical constraint for veteran players.
Whether you are looking to break the game with flight or test your aim without the aid of a scope, these Skulls add incredible replayability to one of the most iconic levels in the Halo franchise.
